“Candlemas”

Published by Not Just Air Literary Magazine in their second issue. This short story brought Gilley to life and became the basis for Between the Voice and the Echo.

“Necessary Steps”

Published by SNReview for Volume 11 (Spring 2009). I’d been working on this story since 2001 – 2002. The character of Jason in the story was the template for the character who became Chance in Between the Voice and the Echo.
